Jose A. Castellanos Elementary

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Working with the Los Angeles Unified School Districts' New Construction Design Management team, BASE completed site surveys, master planning, construction documents and construction support to provide a new school for 575 students on a 2.45 Acre site. This School consists of 23 classrooms with a new food service building, administration, multi-purpose room, library and play fields. Our approach of minimalistic design through the use of innovative lighter framed, steel structure called "Sure-Board", made this school project a leader in cost savings for the District.
