Martin L. King Jr. Transit Center

COMPTON, CALIFORNIA - Serving approximately 4,000 commuters a day, the Martin L. King Jr. Transit Center boasts new offices, retail spaces, eight bus bays, a park and ride, taxi and Greyhound Bus interchange as well as a landscaped park and parkways. BASE was contracted by the City of Compton to design and project manage the expansion of the existing transit center. We were able to co-locate several transit services, freeing up adjacent City-owned property for new mixed-use development.
