Los Angeles, California - BASE Architecture and Planning was selected to serve as support architects to Fentress Architects in a $1.25B improvement and expansion project at Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). While the Los Angeles World Airport is continuously working toward meeting commuter demands, it is also meeting the task of providing its patrons with facilities that are safe, modern and efficient. BASE's design team assisted with the Enabling Projects, providing construction document services, permitting bidding and negotiation and construction administration. Our timely responsiveness was key, as much of our scope was required ahead of the TBIT expansion, and terminal operations were to occur continuously during construction.
